Anthony David “Tony” Scott is Dead, Commits Suicide

Anthony David "Tony" Scott (21 June 1944 – 19 August 2012) was a British film director. Tony Scott, a Hollywood director famous for his movies Top Gun, The Hunger, Beverly Hills Cop II, Days of Thunder, The Last Boy Scout, True Romance, Crimson Tide, Spy Game, Unstoppable, Man on Fire, is dead after an alleged suicide.

According to LA police, the 68-year-old director jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012.

Scott is survived by wife Donna Scott and their young twin sons.
